When knitting stripes in the round there is a slight ‘jog’ at the beginning of each round where the color shifts. For perfectionists this is incredibly irritating. There are a variety of ways to try to hide or eliminate the color change jog, but this one from TECHknitting is one of the easier to execute.
The basic premise is that you slip the stitch before the join so that the color change column has one less stitch than the columns on either side.
